Tandridge District Council: dog rules
Council-wide dog rules, beaches and named places
We've only partly added this council's dog rules. Check the source for the full order.
Partly added
- In 2023 the council agreed to consult on a dog order that could require leads in some open spaces, after a fatal dog attack at Caterham Viewpoint.
- Pick up and follow signs on council open spaces.
We could not confirm whether the order came in (checked October 2026).
Assistance dogs: most council dog orders and beach bans exempt assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs. Check the source if you are unsure.
